CPAC Spore Test Monitoring Service is a mail-in biological indicator program that documents whether your sterilizer is actually killing spores, not just reaching temperature. Works with both dry heat and steam sterilizers.

Why biological monitoring matters
Chemical indicators and indicator tape confirm that a load was exposed to sterilization conditions. Only a biological spore test confirms that the process actually inactivated spores. Most infection control protocols call for documented biological testing on a regular schedule, and many state boards and accrediting bodies expect those records on request. Check your own state and accreditation requirements to determine your required testing frequency.
