Chemical indicators confirm that a load was exposed to sterilization conditions on a per-cycle basis. They do not replace biological spore testing, which verifies actual spore kill. Most practices run chemical indicators every load and biological spore tests on a regular documented schedule. CPAC mail-in spore test monitoring service is available separately.
