AEDs built for the workplace
Seven workplace-ready defibrillators, every one of them new, in-warranty and shipped from an authorized dealer. Offices, warehouses, small businesses and non-profits — we will help you match the unit to your building, your budget and your state's requirements.
Why it matters at work
Cardiac arrest doesn't wait for the ambulance
Most workplace cardiac arrests are survivable — but only if a shock is delivered in the first few minutes. An AED on the wall is the difference between waiting for help and being the help.
Survival lost every minute
For each minute that passes without defibrillation, the chance of survival falls by roughly 7 to 10 percent.
Typical EMS response
Average ambulance response runs several minutes — longer in traffic, high-rises and large facilities.
US arrests each year
Sudden cardiac arrest strikes hundreds of thousands of Americans annually, most of them outside a hospital.
Check your state's rules before you buy
AED requirements for businesses vary by state — some mandate placement, registration, training or a medical direction programme. Our AED law checker shows what applies where you operate, and PlusTrac keeps pads, batteries and inspections compliant once you're up and running.

Prices shown are the lowest configuration for each model. “Semi” means the rescuer presses the shock button; “Fully” delivers it automatically once the unit confirms a shockable rhythm.

Choosing well
Three questions that settle it
Every AED on this page will shock a heart back into rhythm. The differences are about who will be using it, where it lives and what it costs to keep ready.
Who is most likely to grab it?
Untrained staff do better with fewer decisions.
- Fully automatic shocks on its own — best for general staff
- Semi-automatic waits for a button press — preferred by trained responders
- A screen helps trained rescuers, and little else
Where will it live?
Placement drives the accessories more than the unit.
- Multi-floor or large sites need one per 1–3 minute walk
- Dusty, wet or outdoor areas want a higher IP rating
- Wall cabinets and alarms matter for public-facing lobbies
What will it cost to keep?
Pads and batteries expire whether or not you use them.
- Ask about pad and battery replacement intervals
- Bundle a pad & battery package up front and save
- Our cost-of-ownership tool does the 8-year maths

Common questions
Buying an AED for your business
The questions we field most often from facilities managers, HR leads and small-business owners.
Is a business legally required to have an AED?
It depends on your state and sometimes your industry or building type. Several states mandate AEDs in certain workplaces, health clubs or buildings over a given occupancy, and many add registration, signage or training obligations. Our AED law checker shows what applies where you operate.
How many AEDs does one workplace need?
The usual planning rule is that anyone in the building should be able to reach an AED and return within about three minutes. In practice that means one per floor in multi-storey offices, and more in large warehouses or spread-out campuses.
Should we choose semi-automatic or fully automatic?
Fully automatic units deliver the shock themselves once they confirm a shockable rhythm, which removes a decision from an untrained rescuer. Semi-automatic units wait for a button press and are often preferred where responders are trained. Either is safe for lay use.
Do staff need training to use one?
No — every AED here talks the rescuer through it, and Good Samaritan laws protect bystanders who act in good faith. That said, trained responders act faster and hesitate less, and some states do require training as part of an AED programme.
What are the ongoing costs after we buy?
Electrode pads and batteries expire on a fixed schedule whether or not the unit is ever used, typically every two to five years depending on model. Budgeting for those replacements up front is what keeps an AED rescue-ready rather than merely present.
Can you help manage inspections and expiry dates?
Yes. PlusTrac tracks every unit, pad and battery across your sites, flags upcoming expiries and keeps the documentation you'd need for a compliance check or an incident review.
