Resuscitation & Airway Support
The devices that support ventilation, circulation and airway management during a resuscitation, including the Archeon EOlife and EOlife X ventilation feedback monitors, automated chest compression systems such as the Stryker LUCAS, emergency oxygen units, bag valve masks, CPR barrier devices and choking rescue tools including LifeVac.
Ventilation is the least measured part of CPR. Rescuers consistently over-ventilate under stress, and EOlife is the first widely available device to show delivered tidal volume in real time so that a provider can correct it mid-resuscitation rather than in a debrief afterwards. Automated compression devices solve the parallel problem on the circulation side by holding depth and rate constant through transport and stairwells, where manual quality falls off fastest.
