TVAC Manual Suction Device with Biohazard Label

Item Number: TM-909
$36.00

Description

TVAC is a simple manual suction device for clearing an airway obstructed by blood, vomit, or secretions. It needs no power and no charging, so it works on the first call of a deployment and the last one. The unit includes a suction tube and a biohazard label for disposal, which matters more than it sounds when a device comes off a call full of contaminated fluid.

Why it fits your program

Battery suction units are the right answer for a well-stocked ambulance. They are the wrong answer for a school nurse office, an industrial first aid station, a remote work site, or a tactical medic operating light. TVAC covers those cases: an airway you can actually clear, in a package small enough that nobody argues about carrying it. Airway obstruction is time-critical and often precedes cardiac arrest, so this is a genuine gap-filler for organizations that already own an AED.

What is included

  • One TVAC manual suction device
  • Suction tube
  • Biohazard label for contaminated disposal

Manufacturer SAM Medical Products

Compatibility

TVAC is a self-contained device requiring no accessories or consumables. It fits naturally in an airway roll alongside oral and nasal airway adjuncts and a bag valve mask, and belongs in the same response bag as your AED for any unresponsive patient protocol. It is not a replacement for powered suction on a transporting unit, but it is the practical airway clearing option everywhere a powered unit is not available.

Program context

Airway clearing is part of the same response as CPR and AED use, so it belongs at the emergency station rather than in a separate supply closet. Co-locate TVAC with the AED cabinet the way you would a bleeding control kit, and include it in the monthly visual inspection so the tube is present and the unit is clean before it is needed.
