Compatibility
Adaptor2 is compatible with the Arrow EZ-IO Power Driver. An integrated magnetic feature secures Adaptor2 to the driver, with an intuitive driver-to-adaptor fit. Adaptor2 is not required when using the SAM IO manual driver (IO700), which accepts SAM IO needles directly. Need needles with an adaptor already in the pack? Product update
SAM Medical has discontinued new U.S. sales of the original SAM IO Adaptor (IO742, IO742-EN) as of October 22, 2026. The Adaptor2 10-Pack (IO842) remains available in the U.S. Note that the original Adaptor and Adaptor2 serve different driver setups; call 888-541-2337 if you are unsure which you need.
